BLS - Basic Life Support CPR

Description: This class is offered to those who require BLS certification as a healthcare professional or other personnel who needs to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings. Passing a written exam is required for completion.

This course covers:

•Up to date science and education from the American Heart Association .

•The components of high-quality CPR for adults, children and infants

•The AHA Chain of survival for prehospital and in-facility providers

•Use of an AED- Automated External Defibulator

•Importance of teams in multi-rescuer CPR

•Use of barrier devices and effective ventilations

•Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for adults and infants.

AHA - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Course

Duration: Duration: 2-Day Course | 6-Hour Class Per Day.

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or related cardiac emergencies. Participation in this course will include didactic instruction and hands-on skills related to emergent cardiac treatment. Through simulated scenarios, students will enhance their skills by recognizing and intervening when a cardiac emergency presents itself. This includes cardiac arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

The goal of this course is to improve patient outcomes for adult cardiovascular emergencies. Alongside the demonstration of skills, a post-test will be given and a student must receive a grade of at least 84% to pass the course and receive the two-year certification.

For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response

AHA - HeartSaver CPR AED Course

Initial certification: $90.00 price includes book, class instruction and ecard.

Duration: 3 hour class.

Description: This class is offered for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years. The HeartSaver course is blended to incorporate video-based and hands on demonstrations in order to learn the skills needed for successful completion. The book is included in the fee for this course.

This course covers:

•Adult, child and infant CPR skills

•Use of an AED (Automated External Defibulator)

•Adult, child and infant choking

•Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

The Book is provided on the day of the course.

Description: This class is offered to those who are required or are interested in taking the HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED Course. The course is an Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) use in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration and a CPR and AED skills test, students receive a HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.
